Many clubs in the UK regret installing cameras on their courts.

Yes, you read that right.

And it’s not just one or two.

If you're considering this for your club, you need to read this first.

In just 3 minutes, you can save months of hassle, money, and headaches.

And either way, you will make a much better decision.

I know this because I speak with clubs every week and they tell me directly.

But I don't ask you to just take my word for it.

What I recommend is that you speak with other club owners and ask them yourself.

Do it.

Many clubs invest money on the cameras

Hoping it will make their club stand out from the rest

It isn't always achieved

Specifically, I see 3 decisions they regret:

The 3 decisions that make clubs regret installing cameras

Decision 1: AI Analytics and player statistics

Sounds like a great idea, right?

Having an AI analyze your game, count every shot, and tell you where you need to improve.

The reality is that by the third match, players realize their heat map looks pretty much the same as the previous ones.

And counting the exact number of double-sliced backhands doesn't actually add much value to their day.

It's especially painful to see in smaller local community clubs across towns and suburbs.

Paying huge monthly fees per court for that is crazy.

It’s common sense.

Just for the same 4 regular players to ever use it.

Mind you, at Save My Play we actually do have a plan that includes AI Analytics and stats for £136 a month, on top of the initial hardware, which I'll explain later.

A bargain.

You already know my honest opinion on this plan.

If you really insist, I'll sell it to you, but don't come back saying I didn't warn you.

Decision 2: Free trial periods and long contracts

Beware of trial periods (free or heavily discounted) for a couple of months before locking into a long contract.

Be careful.

Here is the usual story:

1st During the first month, people use it because it's new and shiny

2nd Assuming it will always be like that, you don't mind signing a long lock-in contract

3rd When the initial hype fades, you are stuck paying every single month

Never tie yourself down with a lock-in contract.

We don't do lock-in contracts.

You cancel your subscription and you walk away.

We don't want unhappy clients.

Thinking medium and long term, it's just not worth it.

Even so, 97% of clubs stay with us voluntarily month after month.

Decision 3: Using CCTV / security cameras

Before going any further, here is a key question you should have asked yourself already:

Why do players actually want cameras?

To share their best highlights on social media and send them to friends.

And to let everyone know they play padel.

It's that simple.

And now comes the real question:

Do you really think a teenager would record TikToks using a CCTV security camera instead of the latest iPhone??

Well, some camera providers don't seem to realize that.

And neither do quite a few clubs.

If players want to share highlights on social media, it makes no sense to use security cameras to record them.

The image quality is terrible.

The court lines and angles look warped.

There is endless glare and reflection.

All it needs is black-and-white mode to look like CCTV bank robbery footage.

We do not use security cameras to record courts.

No, thank you.

We build and manufacture our dedicated padel cameras in Chicago and California.

That's why there is an initial investment of £180 per camera, just one per court.

We know we're not for every club.

And on top of that, delivery takes 2 to 4 weeks.

Or a bit longer when there's a queue—the last ones took 5 weeks.

Conclusion:

Many clubs end up regretting the camera systems and services they sign up for.

Again, don't just rely on what people like me tell you.

Talk to other club managers and let them tell you their experience.

Decision What you expect The reality
AI Analytics Look like a modern club Low player usage, high costs
Free Trials Make a safer decision Locked into long contracts
Security Cameras Proper sports cameras Low quality CCTV footage

What do you gain with Save My Play cameras?

In the UK, padel is growing fast and clubs are opening everywhere.

All courts look very similar.

Except perhaps for the turf color.

With Save My Play, you stand out from neighboring clubs.

With a premium service that your players actually enjoy and use every week.

And they generate content for your social media for free.

Sharing it with other players.

With your club's logo right on screen.

The plan we recommend to most clubs for £45 a month includes match recordings, highlights, live streaming on YouTube, coaching tools… everything you need.

At Save My Play, we are installed on more than 1,600 courts worldwide.

The US Padel Federation chooses us to record and stream their FIP tournaments.

And the US Tennis Association streams live every weekend across over 100 courts with us.

Because in a couple of clicks everything is up and running, and because our systems just work without headaches.

But that's another story for another time.

Now you have 2 options:

First, a couple of reminders:

Option 1: Reply that you're not interested

If you don't like the idea, you're too busy, or it's not the right time.

Option 2: Pick a time for the online demo

We'll talk, you can ask questions and tell me about your club.

And I'll show you how everything works so you can see it for yourself.

Done. Demo booked.

You'll receive a confirmation email with the call link.
